Making pizza dough
  1. Firstly take 75 ml lukewarm milk+ 50ml lukewarm water in a bowl. To this add sugar, yeast and mix well. Leave it covered for 5 minutes, so that the yeast gets activated.
  2. Now mix all the dry ingredients, wheat flour, baking powder and salt in a large vessel. To this add the activated yeast and oil and mix well.
  3. Now knead the dough by adding milk and water as required to make a non-sticky soft dough. (Like chapati dough)
  4. Rub oil on the dough and cover it. Keep the dough for fermentation in a warm place of your kitchen for 1 hour.
  5. After 1 hour punch the fermented dough a little with your fingers and make around 12 equal sized balls out of it. (Do not remove all the air by punching it hard. Little tapping is enough)
Stuffing and baking pizza
  1. Take a ball of the dough and by using a rolling pin, roll it into round quarter-inch thick chapati.
  2. Spread Nutella evenly all over the rolled dough.
  3. Now close it from one side making a semi-circle shaped stuffed pizza.
  4. Seal the sides with a fork.
  5. Give it a milk wash and sprinkle some sesame seeds over it. Keep this aside covered for 5 minutes before baking. (For milk wash take 4 tablespoons of milk+1pinch salt+1 pinch sugar and mix well. Apply this mixture onto the pastry.)
  6. Now, bake it at 170 degrees for 5 minutes in an air fryer.
  7. Grease it with butter and keep covered in a hot-pot or vessel with a lid before serving. (keeping covered after baking makes them soft).
  8. That’s it. Nutella pizza is ready to be served.
Recipe Notes
  1. Adding mozzarella cheese along with Nutella is optional for this recipe.
  2. Since we are using the air fryer for baking, your pizza may look crunchy after baking, just keep it covered in a vessel or cooking pot with a lid. (Just like we do for bread). This method traps moisture and softens the pizza.
  3. The same recipe can be made with all-purpose flour.
