Sweet vermicelli is a famous Hyderabadi dessert inspired by the nizam’s cuisine. This dessert is usually served during festive celebrations. The vermicelli when cooked with milk and dry fruits turns out very delectable.

Recipe Notes
  1. You can also add khoya or mawa to the recipe. If doing so add about 50 grams to the milk mixture and then add this mixture to the vermicelli.
  2. Do not panic if your dessert turns out hard and stiff. Just add milk to turn it soft.
  3. Chopped pieces of dry dates can also be added along with other dry fruits. But in this case, do not fry the dates. Add them raw directly.
