Grilled Chicken wings is a very popular dish particularly in United States, Hongkong and other parts of the world as well. However, there are many versions of the dish as per people’s taste. It is relished by people as a delicacy because of its unique flavour. It can be served as starters or snacks in dinner parties, marriages.
Grilled chicken wings are very easy to make and require only few basic ingredients, the recipe gets further simplified in the air fryer.
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also make it over grill pan or normal fry pan will do.
Grilled chicken wings are rich in protein and low in fat.
These Grilled chicken wings can be teamed up with french fries, garlic mayo and some bread for a western meal.

Grilled Chicken wings in airfryer
Instructions
Wash the chicken wings thoroughly and put it in a colander for 5 minutes to drain all the water.
Marinate the chicken wings for 1 hour with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, curd, salt, lemon juice and red food colour. Do not add oil at this stage.
After 1 hour add the oil as well and marinate for another 1 hour.
Now preheat the Airfryer for 3 minutes and grill the chicken wings at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
That's it. Delicious grilled chicken wings are ready. Serve hot.
Recipe Notes
- Adding food colour is optional.
- I have used Philips air fryer. The time taken to cook may vary depending on your air fryer. For this, you can check at regular intervals of time, maybe around every 7 minutes, to know how much time your air fryer takes to grill the chicken wings.
- Adding hot sauce is optional.
