Instructions
  1. In a bowl add all the dry powders that are red chilli powder, chat masala, black pepper powder and salt, mix well and keep aside.
  2. Add a pinch of salt to the milk and keep aside.
  3. Now cut the hard-boiled eggs into two halves each and sprinkle the flat surface of the egg with the spice mixture which we have made earlier.
  4. Now take a pastry sheet and place one piece of the egg (i.e half egg) in it such that the flat seasoned surface is downwards on the pastry sheet. Now seal the egg in the pastry sheet by folding the two corners of the sheet and stick them together with a dab of water.
  5. Now just brush the puffs with milk and sprinkle some sesame seeds on it.
  6. Preheat air fryer and place these egg puffs in the air fryer and cook at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes. That's it. Egg puffs are ready. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Recipe Notes
  1. You can also use beaten whole egg mixed with little water to brush the puffs. But always add a pinch of salt to the egg mixture or milk, whichever you use to brush the puffs. Since puff pastry is used for making both savoury items and as well as sweet dishes it will not be seasoned. Hence if we make savoury items add a bit of salt in the brushing mixture. And for sweet items just sprinkle it with castor sugar/powdered sugar after cooking.
  2. You can also fold the puff pastry from all the four corners, this will make square-shaped egg puffs.
  3. Any spicy tomato gravy or onion gravy can also be used in place of the spice mixture which I have used, It's up to you, how you like it.
